Stigma and Hepatitis B

The transmission of Hepatitis B is very similar to HIV/AIDS and the high risk groups are also equally similar. The high risk groups include men who have sex with men (MSM), injection drug users and health care workers. The virus can spread both parenterally and through sexual activity. This may be a reason why there is stigmatization associated with viral Hepatitis.
